The Hawks and Pistons meet on Wednesday in a key game in the Eastern Conference playoff chase.
With three weeks remaining in the regular season, every game helps bring the playoff picture into clearer focus. Here is one must-see matchup for all 30 teams.
All games are on NBA League Pass unless otherwise noted.
Eastern Conference
Atlanta Hawks
- Schedule: Monday vs. Grizzlies, Wednesday at Pistons (ESPN), Friday at Celtics, Saturday vs. Kings
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Pistons (ESPN): The Hawks have won 12 of their last 13 games to climb into the top six in the East. As they look to hold a guaranteed playoff spot, Wednesday is their fourth and final chance to earn a win against the East-leading Pistons.
Boston Celtics
- Schedule: Wednesday vs. Thunder, Friday vs. Hawks, Sunday at Hornets
- Game to Watch: Wednesday vs. Thunder: The last two NBA champions meet for the second time in two weeks. Their first matchup was a thriller, with neither team leading by more than four points during the entire fourth quarter before OKC prevailed by two at home.
Brooklyn Nets
- Schedule: Monday at Trail Blazers, Wednesday at Warriors, Friday at Lakers, Sunday vs. Kings
- Game to Watch: Monday at Trail Blazers: Coming off two losses by a combined five points, the Nets look to break through and snap a seven-game skid as they continue their West Coast road trip in Portland.
Charlotte Hornets
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Kings, Thursday vs. Knicks (NBA TV), Saturday vs. 76ers, Sunday vs. Celtics
- Game to Watch: Saturday vs. 76ers: Opening the week ranked 10th in the East, the Hornets look to gain ground on one of the teams ahead of them in the SoFi Play-In Tournament chase – the seventh-ranked Sixers, who lead Charlotte by just two games. With their season series tied at 1-1, the winner of this game also earns the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Chicago Bulls
- Schedule: Monday vs. Rockets, Wednesday at 76ers, Friday at Thunder, Saturday at Grizzlies
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at 76ers: Sitting 12th in the East and 8.5 games behind the 10th-place Hornets, the Bulls must go on a winning streak to keep their postseason hopes alive. Amid matchups with two of the West’s top four teams this week, the Bulls have a chance to sweep their season series against the Sixers.
Cleveland Cavaliers
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Magic (NBC/Peacock), Wednesday vs. Heat, Friday vs. Heat (NBA TV)
- Game to Watch: Tuesday vs. Magic (NBC/Peacock): Before hosting the Heat for a two-game set, the Cavs open the week looking to clinch the season series against the Magic. A win would seal the season series 3-1 and give Cleveland its fourth straight win.
Detroit Pistons
- Schedule: Monday vs. Lakers, Wednesday vs. Hawks (ESPN), Thursday vs. Pelicans, Saturday at Timberwolves (ABC)
- Game to Watch: Monday vs. Lakers: The Pistons won their first two games without Cade Cunningham, who is out two weeks with a collapsed lung. They open Week 23 against two of the hottest teams in the league: the Lakers (on a nine-game win streak) and the Hawks (who just had an 11-game streak snapped).
Indiana Pacers
- Schedule: Monday at Magic, Wednesday vs. Lakers, Friday vs. Clippers, Sunday vs. Heat
- Game to Watch: Monday at Magic: Can the Pacers find a way to halt their 16-game losing streak, the longest skid in team history? Their first shot comes Monday in Orlando.
Miami Heat
- Schedule: Monday vs. Spurs (Peacock), Wednesday at Cavaliers, Friday at Cavaliers (NBA TV), Sunday at Pacers
- Game to Watch: Monday vs. Spurs (Peacock): Before a two-game set with the Cavs, the Heat will look to snap a four-game skid. That won’t be an easy task as they host Victor Wembanyama and the red-hot Spurs, who have won 21 of their last 23 games.
Milwaukee Bucks
- Schedule: Monday at Clippers, Wednesday at Trail Blazers, Saturday vs. Spurs (Prime Video), Sunday vs. Clippers (NBA TV)
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Trail Blazers: Milwaukee will visit a pair of former Bucks point guards when it heads to Portland to take on the Blazers. While Damian Lillard is sidelined due to a torn Achilles, Jrue Holiday will suit up against the team he helped lead to the 2021 NBA title.
New York Knicks
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Pelicans, Thursday at Hornets (NBA TV), Sunday at Thunder (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Sunday at Thunder (NBC/Peacock): Only two teams enter Week 23 with a longer active win streak than New York’s straight: the Lakers (nine) and the Thunder (11). As the Knicks ramp up for the playoffs with Finals expectations, they get a second shot at the defending champs, who edged New York 103-100 on March 4.
Orlando Magic
- Schedule: Monday vs. Pacers, Tuesday at Cavaliers (NBC/Peacock), Thursday vs. Kings, Sunday at Raptors
- Game to Watch: Sunday at Raptors: The Magic are eighth in the East to open the week, but are just one game behind the fifth-place Raptors in the jam-packed East standings. This game gives Orlando a chance to gain ground in the standings and earn a head-to-head tiebreaker with the season series tied 1-1 entering this rubber match.
Philadelphia 76ers
- Schedule: Monday vs. Thunder, Wednesday vs. Bulls, Saturday at Hornets
- Game to Watch: Saturday at Hornets: The seventh-place Sixers lead the 10th-place Hornets by two games to begin the week. As Philly looks to keep the teams below them at bay and gain ground for a potential top-six seed, a win over the Hornets would lock up a head-to-head tiebreaker for the Sixers.
Toronto Raptors
- Schedule: Monday at Utah, Wednesday at Clippers, Friday vs. Pelicans, Sunday vs. Magic
- Game to Watch: Sunday vs. Magic: After opening the week against three Western Conference opponents, the Raptors host the Magic – one of the five teams on the Raptors’ tail for a top-six finish in the East. Similar to other matchups in this tightly packed race, this game will determine the head-to-head tiebreaker between Toronto and Orlando.
Washington Wizards
- Schedule: Wednesday at Jazz, Friday at Warriors, Sunday at Trail Blazers
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Jazz: With Sunday’s loss to the Knicks, the Wizards matched their longest losing streak in franchise history (set four times previously). Can they avoid setting a new mark when they visit Utah on Wednesday?
Western Conference
The Rockets and Wolves are jostling for position in the West standings and meet on Wednesday in Week 23.
Dallas Mavericks
- Schedule: Monday vs. Warriors (Peacock), Wednesday at Nuggets, Friday at Trail Blazers (NBA TV)
- Game to Watch: Monday vs. Warriors (Peacock): With the race for Kia Rookie of the Year coming down to the wire, Cooper Flagg gets the national spotlight Monday to strengthen his case to voters. Flagg is on pace to become the eighth rookie (and first since Luka Dončić in 2018-19) to average at least 20 points, six rebounds and four assists per game.
Denver Nuggets
- Schedule: Tuesday at Suns (NBC/Peacock), Wednesday vs. Mavericks, Friday vs. Jazz, Sunday vs. Warriors (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Suns (NBC/Peacock): In a race for a top-four seed in the West, the Nuggets open Week 23 seeking a season sweep of the seventh-ranked Suns to earn their fourth win in the last five games.
Golden State Warriors
- Schedule: Monday at Mavericks (Peacock), Wednesday vs. Nets, Friday vs. Wizards, Sunday at Nuggets (NBC/Peacock)
- Game to Watch: Wednesday vs. Nets: While the Warriors are in the national spotlight to open and close this week, the key matchup for Warriors fans will be Wednesday’s game against Brooklyn. Stephen Curry, who has been out since Jan. 30 with a knee injury, is set to be reevaluated when the team returns home. Could this be the return game for Curry? If so, he and the Warriors will have 11 games remaining to improve their Play-In position.
Houston Rockets
- Schedule: Monday at Bulls, Wednesday at Timberwolves (ESPN), Friday at Grizzlies, Sunday at Pelicans
- Game to Watch: Wednesday at Timberwolves (ESPN): The 4th-place Rockets open the week holding the slimmest of margins (.003 in win percentage) over both the 5th-place Nuggets and 6th-place Timberwolves. A Houston win at Minnesota would not only increase that lead over the Wolves, it would also clinch the season series (and head-to-head tiebreaker) for the Rockets.
LA Clippers
- Schedule: Monday vs. Bucks, Wednesday vs. Raptors, Friday at Pacers, Sunday at Bucks (NBA TV)
- Game to Watch: Monday vs. Bucks: The Clippers are coming off an overtime win in Dallas on Saturday that saw Darius Garland score a season-high 41 points (in his ninth game as a Clipper) and Kawhi Leonard add 34 points (including the game-tying bucket to force OT). What will they have in store for a follow-up when the Clippers host the Bucks on Monday?
Los Angeles Lakers
- Schedule: Monday at Pistons, Wednesday at Pacers, Friday vs. Nets
- Game to Watch: Monday at Pistons: The Lakers can earn their first double-digit win streak since November 2019 if they can defeat the East-leading Pistons in Detroit to open Week 23. Los Angeles’ nine-game win streak has been packed with clutch moments – with each of their last five games decided by single digits. Can the team with the league’s top clutch record (22-6) keep it going?
Memphis Grizzlies
- Schedule: Monday at Hawks, Wednesday vs. Spurs, Friday vs. Rockets, Saturday vs. Bulls
- Game to Watch: Friday vs. Rockets: Last Wednesday, the Grizzlies knocked off the Nuggets for their first win since March 1. On Friday, they have another chance to impact the top of the Western Conference playoff race when they host the Rockets for the first of two meetings over the season’s final three weeks.
Minnesota Timberwolves
- Schedule: Wednesday vs. Rockets (ESPN), Saturday vs. Pistons (ABC)
- Game to Watch: Wednesday vs. Rockets (ESPN): The 6th-place Wolves are locked in a four-team race with the Lakers, Rockets and Nuggets for two top-four spots in the Western Conference, which carry home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs. The Wolves have already lost their season series (and tiebreakers) with L.A. and Denver. Minnesota must beat Houston on Wednesday to keep that series alive and force a rubber match on April 10.
New Orleans Pelicans
- Schedule: Tuesday at Knicks, Thursday at Pistons, Friday at Raptors, Sunday vs. Rockets
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Knicks: New Orleans makes its annual trip to Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks. Zion Williamson is set to play his third career game at MSG. He’s 1-1 so far, while averaging 27.5 points per game.
Oklahoma City Thunder
- Schedule: Monday at 76ers, Wednesday at Celtics, Friday vs. Bulls, Sunday vs. Knicks (NBC/Peacock)
- Game To Watch: Monday at 76ers: Not only will the Thunder look to extend their win streak to 12 games on Monday in Philly, Jalen Williams is also set to return to the lineup after missing the past five weeks with a hamstring injury. Williams’ return brings the Thunder back to full strength with 11 games remaining in the regular season as they gear up for their title defense.
Phoenix Suns
- Schedule: Tuesday vs. Nuggets (NBC/Peacock), Saturday vs. Jazz (NBA TV)
- Game to Watch: Tuesday vs. Nuggets (NBC/Peacock): On Sunday, the Suns defeated the Raptors to snap a five-game skid that dropped them four games back of the top six in the Western Conference playoff race. Any hope to climb back into contention for a guaranteed playoff berth will require wins over the teams ahead of them in the standings. That starts Tuesday against Denver – a team Phoenix has not beaten since Christmas 2024.
Portland Trail Blazers
- Schedule: Monday vs. Nets, Wednesday vs. Bucks, Friday vs. Mavericks (NBA TV), Sunday vs. Wizards
- Game to Watch: Friday vs. Mavericks (NBA TV): The 9th-place Blazers open the week a half-game back of the 8th-place Clippers in a race for Play-In positioning. As a reminder, the top two teams in the Play-In (who finish the regular season 7th and 8th) have two chances to win one game to clinch a playoff berth, while the bottom two teams (who finish 9th and 10th) must win two games and can only earn the No. 8 seed. The takeaway: every game is crucial at this point of the season, including this matchup with the Mavericks, who have split two games against the Blazers, with each decided by five points or fewer.
Sacramento Kings
- Schedule: Tuesday at Hornets, Thursday at Magic, Saturday at Hawks, Sunday at Nets
- Game to Watch: Tuesday at Hornets: Malik Monk, who is coming off a season-high 32 points in Sunday’s win over Brooklyn, returns to where his NBA career began in 2017 as the No. 11 pick in the draft by the Hornets. Can Monk stay hot when the Kings visit Buzz City to open a five-game road trip?
San Antonio Spurs
- Schedule: Monday at Heat (Peacock), Wednesday at Grizzlies, Saturday at Bucks (Prime Video)
- Game to Watch: Monday at Heat (Peacock): At 21-2, the Spurs have been the NBA’s best team since Feb. 1 and clinched their first playoff berth since 2019 last week. San Antonio will look to keep riding that momentum as they open a three-game road trip in Miami. When these teams last met on Oct. 30, Victor Wembanyama filled the box score with 27 points, 18 rebounds, six assists and five blocks.
Utah Jazz
- Schedule: Monday vs. Raptors, Wednesday vs. Wizards, Friday at Nuggets, Saturday at Suns (NBA TV)
- Game to Watch: Friday at Nuggets: While the Jazz have been eliminated from postseason contention, they could impact the top of the West playoff race with the Nuggets (twice), Suns, Rockets and Lakers over the season’s final three weeks. Friday marks the first of their two remaining matchups with the Nuggets, a team the Jazz pushed to a three-point game earlier this month.
